[ABSTRACT]: Unemployment rates are regarded as major indicators of economic health; unemployment rates of regions and the relationship among them should be studied vigorously to gain insight on the composition of the broad economy. The spatial relationship between unemployment rates of different regions has been studied in both Boston and Italy, and this paper presents a similar study of the unemployment rates of the city of Los Angeles.
